The short version
WonderWild collects as little as possible. If you fill out the contact form or email us, we use what you send to reply and to scope your project. We don’t sell personal information. We use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how people use the site and to measure our advertising; see Cookies and analytics below.
Who we are
This site is run by WonderWild Design Studio, an independent brand studio based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Questions about this policy go to seth@wonderwild.co.
What we collect
- Things you tell us. Your name, email, company, website, budget range, the services you’re interested in, and anything you write in the contact form or an email.
- Technical basics. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the visit. These logs keep the site secure and running.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and talk through a potential project.
- To deliver and manage work if we end up working together.
- To keep the site secure, diagnose problems, and improve it.
We won’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only process data on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts the site and receives contact-form submissions.
- cdnjs and jsDelivr deliver code libraries. Your browser connects to them directly, which shares your IP address with those providers.
- Email: replies to your inquiry run through our email provider.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit, how they arrive, and whether the contact form gets used. It sets first-party cookies and collects things like pages viewed, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found the site. We don’t send your name, email, or message to Google. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It records page visits and when the contact form is sent, so we can measure ads on Meta’s platforms and show WonderWild to people who have already visited. Meta may combine this with information it already has about you under its own privacy policy. You can control ad personalization in your Meta ad preferences or block it with your browser’s tracking protection.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails and form submissions as long as they’re useful for an ongoing conversation or project, plus a reasonable period for our records. Ask and we’ll delete yours, unless we have to keep something for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law. Email seth@wonderwild.co and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of the page.
